Description
The CMA is the flagship program of the ICMA (ANZ). On completion, participants will have developed advanced skills of analysis, evaluation and synthesis in the areas of strategic cost and management accounting and business analysis; and, in the process, obtained an in-depth awareness of the current developments in the profession.
The CMA programme consists of two postgraduate-level subjects, namely:
- Strategic Cost Management (SCM)
- Strategic Business Analysis (SBA)

Entry Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance, or an MBA, from a recognized university or Professional Qualification in Accounting, or completion of the GMA Conversion program.
- Minimum five years’ work experience in either Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit or Business Analysis.
Assessment based on years of work experience
- Participants with less than 10 years’ work experience need to submit TWO assignments.
- Participants with less than 20 years’ work experience need to submit only ONE assignment.
- Participants with more than 20 years’ work experience are exempted from the assignment. Need to attend CMA Program only (in class assessment).
